Vitamin D3, usually referred to simply as vitamin D or also as the sun vitamin, can only be synthesized by the human body in sunlight. There are hardly any foods that contain sufficient amounts of vitamin D3. Animal foods in particular, such as fish with a high proportion of omega fatty acids, oysters, eggs or liver, contain the coveted vitamin D - but the amounts are small - nobody would want a dozen eggs per day on their daily menu. Recommended intake: One vitamin D3 + K2 tablet daily.

From a daily dose of 25 µg vitamin K: Patients who are taking anticoagulants should consult their doctor before taking vitamin K supplements.
